My mother, Michelle, occasionally receives a cheeky gift from our uncle Bob in California. This plopped through the door today; with a note advising that she ought to “tone down [her] advert” … cheers Bob!

Although she’s very cute, a good revision buddy she is not. I seem to be spending all day following her around with lecture notes in one hand, a mop in the other! She is learning very fast, though, and almost all the ‘accidents’ are now deposited on newspaper by the back door.

Meet Polly!

The newest addition to our family! She’s only ten weeks old and very, very lively. I’m sure you’ll notice that she’s asleep in almost all these pictures –she’s an absolute nightmare to photograph because she never sits still, even for a moment! But when she’s asleep, she’s an absolute angel.
